VINTAGE MEXICAN CHAIN STITCH EMBROIDRED PONCHO RED WOOL FABRIC WITH TASSELS
Description
Vintage Mexican embroidered poncho. The embroidery work is a very tight chain stitch forming various floral pattern. It is done on wool fabric with tassels. It is pretty bright red,.The photos make it look orange but it is very red...only a slight hint toward orange. It has a stitch line on both ends to form "arm" slots. It is generally in very good condition. The embroidery is very good. There is a little faded spot on the back. The open neck slot has a hook and loop catch but the loop side is missing. It is about 65" from tip to tip and about 32" from top to bottom
