FL225) offering a large Texcoco Mexico weaving from the 1930’s. This two panel rug was woven in two pieces then stitched together. Measuring 51” by 74” all wool piece has a red stain in the middle and chunk missing (. 4 1/2”) from the side and a few light stains. When stitched together some sections are missing but can be easily repaired. This has hand spun warp and weft and a short fringe intact. I used to sell these in Santa Fe in the 1990’s. A heavy rug but not as heavy as some. Well woven textile.
