his auction is for a great vintage, if not antique Southwest blanket  ~ perfect for the collector or lover of vintage textiles.  This and other items we now have listed have been purchased at the recent rural Kansas estate auction. This listing:
1 large blanket ~ also known as serape, saltillo, rug and more
features vibrant woven design of stripes and bands of color with great center design
shades of yellow, green, purple, blue and more ~ see photos
I believe that this piece is wool
double knotted fringe at both ends
no moth nibbles noted,
I have not cleaned in any way ~ farm fresh some dust due to years of storage noted
it measures 38inches by 78 inches plus fringe that is right at 3 inches in length
Farm Fresh!
I am guessing that this piece dates to the 1940s
no odors noted
no tags ~ hand made
