Beautifully Patterned Oaxaca Zapotec Indian Rug

Description

Oaxaca Zapotec Mexican Indian wool rug measuring approximately 28” by 58”. We originally thought this was a Navajo rug, so we had it appraised by Value My Stuff, which is comprised mostly of former Christie’s and Sotheby’s employees. That appraisal is attached in the photos above. The rug is late 20th century. It is in very good overall condition with a couple of areas where there is a spot of glue-like substance. Insurance value of rug is 5. We feel it would be best served as a wall hanging to retain its beauty. Please see all the photos for more details.
